Do Does Did

Do, does, did merupakan Auxiliary verbs yang di gunakan dalam kalimat tanya. Secara umum, Do, Does, Did ini difungsikan dalam menanyakan kegiatan, maupun tindakan yang dilakukan seseorang. Do, does, did ini juga digunakan untuk mendapatkan jawaban diantara 2 pilihan, yaitu: “Yes/No”. Untuk menanyakan sesuatu hal, “Do” digunakan oleh “I, You, They, We”, “Does” digunakan oleh “She, He, It” untuk membentuk “Present Tense” dan “Did” digunakan oleh semua Pronouns “I, You, They, We, She, He, It” untuk membentuk kalimat “Past Tense”

Do is an auxiliary verb that used as a helping verb to ask an asking also. Pronouns that use "Do" are I, You, They, We". Someone who asks with “do” will get the answer “Yes/No”.

Examples:
  • Do you know them?
  • Yes, I do
  • No, I do not

      • Do they understand the lesson?
      • Yes, they do
      • No, they don’t

        • Do we have to see your friend now?
        • Yes, we do
        •  No, we don’t

          • Do I have to wait for you here?
          • Yes, you do
          • No, you don't

          • Do I have to tell us the whole story clearly?
          • Yes, you do
          • No, you don’t

          • Does you mind if I stay here?
          • Yes, I do
          • No, I don’t

          • Do you miss me?
          • Yes, I do
          • No, I don’t

          • Do they tell you something?
          • Yes, they do
          • No, they do not
